Senior UX DesignerHere we build products that empower small brick and mortar restaurants by liberating them of the operational burden of running their business. We accomplish this by providing a frictionless connection between them and their customers through our multi-product ecosystem offering AI-enabled order taking, delivery enablement, payment solutions, and point-of-sale software. We use a combination of bits (technology) and atoms (people) to solve real world problems facing small business owners. About the RoleWe are looking to hire a UX Designer to shape and build the user experiences across multiple product areas. In this role, youll regularly conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and a wide variety of stakeholders. Youll own decisions, ship regularly, and have a critical impact on our growth and evolution. As a critical part of our growing team, youll move fast and wear many hats to uncover user needs and solve their pain points. Key ResponsibilitiesYoull own the user experience for key high-visibility product initiatives all the way from initial prioritization to concepting, development, launch, and beyond Youll be part of identifying the right problems to solve, not just working on them Youll regularly collaborate with product managers, engineers, other designers, and a broad cross-functional team throughout the product development process You will regularly conduct your own user research to drive your decision-making, ranging from focus group discussions to shadowing and interviews, both virtually and on-site Youll deeply understand our users by getting trained to use our products like they would (you'll take many real customer calls) Youll join as an early member of the growing design team and meaningfully contribute to shaping the teams culture, processes, and ways of working Youll define and design key workflows while also accounting for edge cases and points of friction, and managing design tradeoffs throughout QualificationsYou have a minimum 5+ years of tech and/or agency UX design experience. You have strong UX fundamentals and visual design skills. You have demonstrated experience designing and launching features from start to finish. You have experience collaborating closely with engineering and product managers. You have excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills. You have demonstrated experience of aias for action and a drive to get things done, wearing multiple hats as needed. Bonus points:You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer. You have experience building 0 to 1 products. You have experience building complex multi-step workflows. You have experience working in the restaurant industry or on restaurant technology.
