OPEN JOB: Cardiology IT systems specialist (Syngo Dynamics, MUSE, ISCV) LOCATION: New York City***Role is fully onsite reporting to our different locationsBASE SALARY: $97,000 to $145,000INDUSTRY: Hospitals / HealthcareJOB CATEGORY: Information Technology - System SupportHIRING FIRM: one of the nations premier hospital networksPosition SummaryEffectively manages technical projects within functional area of Cardiology IT.Oversee the technical designs, implementations, analysis, and modifications of new/existing programs and systems for business or patient care needs.Ensures the performance, integrity and reliability of systems components.Works independently in a professional, information technology environment to oversee complex specialized technology.Troubleshoots (hands on) complex technical issues and advises on/implements corrective actions.Leads technical implementation efforts involving multidisciplinary teams.Provides training to clinical end users.Essential Job DutiesSupports the Cardiology systems applications, environments, and operational interfaces. Cardiology IT apps include Syngo Dynamics, MUSE, ISCVManages relevant systems development, enhancement, and maintenance projects.Monitors system performance and response times.Provides reports to management and users as required.Takes a proactive role in preventing systems problems.Diagnose and solves problems when they arise.Perform problem analysis and troubleshooting, and maintain appropriate documentation.Develops test plans, test data and testing schedules.Conducts unit and system tests to verify results of technology solutions.Conducts applications testing, including compiling test scripts.Provides business related and technical guidance to other IS staff in the development and support of other IS systems.Provides technical assistance to other staff members, as needed.Create, update, and maintain project plans, provide design and installation/support documentation. As needed, create or modify change management procedures as per departmental standards.Designs, configures and installs new programs, modifications or enhancements to existing systems.Participates in key user committees and work groups to identify new project requirements. Develops innovative approaches for dealing with customer needs that are aligned with information services goals and objectives.Trains end users in use of software.Works in multiple phases of systems and technical analysis, and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.Performs project management duties as needed.Develops project plans and project scope documents.Trains clinical end users.Coordinates applications developments and migrations with developers from multiple teams.Provides supports during non-working hours to ensure the operations of production systems in a 24 x 7 environments, if needed.Required CriteriaBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceThree to five years of previous work related experienceThree to five years of previous work related experience in the Clinical IT spaceKnowledge of one or more Operating Systems and Databases: Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Oracle, SQLKnowledge of Programming Languages where applicable: C++, Java, HTML, Python, or otherKnowledge of Health and Imaging protocols and applications: HL7 protocol, DICOM, EPIC Preferred Criteria Experience with Cardiology IT apps such as Syngo Dynamics, MUSE, ISCVDegree or major in Computer ScienceStrong communication, collaboration and documentation skillsKnowledge of Networking: TCP/IP environmentProvides Tier 3 Applications SupportExperience with Cloud Services: AWS, AzureExperience with Cardiology specific Artificial IntelligenceIf you are interested in pursuing this opportunity, please respond back and include the following:MS WORD Resumerequired compensation.Contact information.Availability Upon receipt, one of our managers will contact you to discuss the position in full detail.
