Print Production OperatorAccountable for daily operations of a single-person print production site. Responsible for delivering contracted document services including, but not limited to: high-volume copy services, digital printing, finishing/bindery, managed print services, and imaging/scanning solutions.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and execute daily operations of a print production and copy center, including high-quality output and timely delivery of all print jobs.Operate and maintain digital printers, copiers, multifunction devices, and finishing/bindery equipment (e.g., cutting, stapling, binding, laminating).Receive, review, and process print and copy requests, ensuring accuracy, formatting, quality, and adherence to specifications.Prepare documents for production, including file setup, formatting, and pre-press adjustments as needed.Perform finishing services such as binding, collating, folding, trimming, and packaging completed jobs.Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met for turnaround time, print quality, and customer satisfaction.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing consultation on print solutions, materials, and production options.Implement and uphold RICOH Service Excellence standards within print production operations.Monitor and manage print supplies and consumables (paper, toner, finishing materials) to maintain continuous production.Maintain equipment functionality through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and escalation of technical issues.Track and manage work orders, job queues, and production schedules to optimize efficiency and workflow.Support cost control efforts by minimizing waste and effectively utilizing materials.Collect and report operational data, including production metrics, volumes, and performance reporting.Maintain strong internal and customer relationships through clear and professional communication.Interact with vendors or service providers related to print equipment and supplies as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)High school diploma or GED required1+ years of experience in print production, copy center, or digital printing environmentPrior customer-facing experience in a service or production setting preferredFamiliarity with print production software, file formats, and document management toolsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of print production workflows and finishing techniquesAbility to operate and troubleshoot digital print and bindery equipmentAttention to detail with a focus on quality control and accuracyAbility to manage multiple print jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environmentProblem-solving skills with a focus on production efficiencyBasic technical aptitude related to print and document systemsEffective written and verbal communication skillsCustomer service orientation with a consultative approach to print solutionsWorking Conditions, Mental and Physical DemandsWork environment is primarily a print production setting with standard lighting, ventilation, and moderate equipment noiseRequires standing for extended periods, as well as frequent walking, bending, and reachingAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (e.g., paper boxes, print materials)Frequent use of hands for operating equipment and finishing tasks requiring dexterity and coordinationDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
