CSlope Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Web Developer to support a federal client within the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and testing of enterprise web applications supporting mission-critical Navy logistics systems.This is a hands-on development position offering the opportunity to work in an Agile environment alongside senior technical leaders while supporting modernization efforts across enterprise systems.Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement web application features and modules based on technical designs and requirementsParticipate in Agile sprint cycles, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectivesSupport requirements gathering activities, including stakeholder collaboration and user story developmentTranslate functional requirements into technical solutions and acceptance criteriaPerform manual and automated testing, including regression testing and defect trackingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applicationsMaintain code documentation and contribute to technical documentation deliverablesRequired Qualifications3–6 years of professional experience in web developmentProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data exchangeFamiliarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologiesExperience supporting testing activities, including writing and executing test casesStrong written communication skills and ability to contribute to technical documentationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience (additional years of experience in lieu of degree)Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting federal or DoD programsFamiliarity with Section 508 and/or WCAG accessibility standardsExperience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest)Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similarWork Environment & RequirementsWork is performed on-site at NAVSUP Business Systems Center in Norfolk, VACandidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Hampton Roads areaMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 2 or higher) clearanceThis position follows a full-time federal contract schedule (no remote or part-time options)Security ClearancePublic Trust (Tier 2 or higher); Secret preferredWork EnvironmentWork is performed on-site at a government facility in Norfolk, VACandidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Hampton Roads areaThis role is a full-time position aligned to a federal contract scheduleAbout UsCSlope Solutions is an 8(a) certified business consulting and professional services firm dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions to our federal clients.
