Electrical Test Technician - NETA preferredAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking experienced Electrical Test Technicians to support testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage electrical power distribution systems across industrial, utility, healthcare, and mission-critical environments.This role is ideal for technicians with strong field experience working on electrical infrastructure including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, MCCs, UPS systems, and medium-voltage cable systems. Candidates will work alongside a highly technical team supporting critical electrical systems where safety, reliability, and system performance are top priorities.What You’ll DoPerform acceptance, maintenance, and troubleshooting testing on electrical power distribution equipmentInspect, analyze, and diagnose issues within low and medium voltage systemsSupport commissioning, startup, retrofit, and modernization projectsTest and service equipment including switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, MCCs, UPS systems, and cable systemsInterpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to execute testing procedures accuratelyPrepare detailed field reports, documentation, and test resultsMaintain compliance with NETA, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and site-specific safety standardsCommunicate findings, deficiencies, and recommendations clearly with customers and project teamsSupport emergency response and field troubleshooting activities when requiredQualificationsMinimum 5 years of electrical testing, commissioning, or field service experience preferredExperience working with low and medium voltage electrical systemsKnowledge of electrical testing equipment, procedures, and troubleshooting methodsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and one-linesFamiliarity with NETA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and IEEE standards preferredStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsValid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sitesPreferred ExperienceNETA Level II, III, or IV CertificationMedium-voltage cable testing, terminations, or splicingLow-voltage breaker testing and maintenanceRelay testing and commissioning supportExperience supporting industrial plants, substations, utilities, data centers, or mission-critical facilitiesWhat’s OfferedCompetitive compensation based on experience and certificationsWeekly payMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and vacationOngoing technical training and career advancement opportunitiesLong-term career growth within a team-oriented environment focused on safety, technical development, and quality work
