We support major public agencies and infrastructure programs by delivering high-quality, reliable, and compliant solutions.Position OverviewDabri is seeking a qualified Safety Manager to support Hetch Hetchy Water and Power operations in Moccasin, CA (near Sonora). This role is responsible for evaluating and improving workplace safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across field and office environments.The Safety Analyst will conduct field assessments, analyze safety data, investigate incidents, and collaborate with staff to implement effective safety solutions. This position requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate existing safety policies, procedures, and operational practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunitiesResearch and interpret applicable safety regulations and industry standards; recommend compliance strategiesConduct field inspections, observe work practices, and identify potential hazardsInterview employees and supervisors regarding equipment use, exposures, and jobsite conditionsDevelop and recommend corrective actions and control measures to mitigate risksInvestigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrencePrepare clear, concise reports and documentationReview workers’ compensation data and safety metrics to identify trends and reduce costsAudit safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and best management practicesIdentify training needs and develop targeted safety training programsDeliver safety training and develop/update safety tailgate materialsParticipate in regulatory inspections and compliance activitiesReview facility designs, construction plans, and equipment selections for safety complianceCollaborate with management and staff to implement safety improvementsMinimum QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityExperience:Minimum ten (10) years of professional occupational safety experience, including:Implementing safety programsConducting worksite inspectionsDelivering safety training(Note: Weapons, ordnance, and systems safety experience does not qualify)License:Valid California Driver’s LicenseSubstitutionsA Master’s degree in Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, or a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experienceCertified Safety Professional (CSP) certification may substitute for required experiencePreferred SkillsStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in field environmentsExperience supporting public agency or infrastructure projects is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company contributionPaid Time Off (PTO), Sick Leave, and HolidaysHow to ApplySubmit your detail resume with expected salary with your coverletter at dabri dot us.
