cFocus Software seeks an IT Analyst III to join our program supporting EPA in Washington, DC. This position has remote capabilities. This position requires active Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT analysis and support
At least 3 years of experience in data exchange systems and APIs
Minimum 2 years of experience with conference/event planning and technical support
ITIL Foundation certification
Security+ certification
Duties:
Provide IT logistics and presentation support for EPA-sponsored RCRAInfo national training sessions and conferences
Collaborate with venues to address IT requirements for training events
Develop training and presentation materials for RCRAInfo application
Deliver hands-on training on various aspects of the RCRAInfo application
Assist in maintaining PL/SQL software for data translation into RCRAInfo
Update and coordinate changes to business rules for data exchange
Develop and maintain REST APIs to meet user community needs
Attend meetings with States to gather requirements for system integration
Update Data Element Dictionary files and manage API services
Support security processes to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO)
Develop and maintain required security artifacts (e.g., System Security Plan, Business Impact Assessment)
Assist in independent verification and validation testing of security controls
Follow security approach based on risk management principles, EPA policy, and NIST guidelines
Contribute to the development of security assessment reports and firewall rules requests
Participate in the creation and maintenance of Information System Contingency Plans
Assist in preparing Memoranda of Understanding and Interconnection Security Agreements
Travel to attend EPA outreach meetings and training sessions as required (up to once per quarter)
