Nail Technician

Job Summary We are an existing Salon and Spa that has been serving Northern Virginia for over 40 years that is seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nail care and aesthetics, providing exceptional services to our clients while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail treatments, maintaining sanitation standards, and fostering positive customer relationships. Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Apply knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades for their nails. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and preferences effectively. Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and positive atmosphere in the salon. Skills Proficient in nail care techniques including manicures, pedicures, and nail art. Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a beauty setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of cosmetology principles related to nail care and aesthetics. Familiarity with retail sales techniques and retail math for product recommendations. Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, barbering, and upselling is a plus.
