We are seeking a Full‑Time Janitor to support the Home’s mission of hospitality by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, Sisters, staff, and visitors. This role includes general janitorial duties, floor care, and support to the Dietary Department through dishwashing and related kitchen cleaning tasks.

Schedule
Full‑time
11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Position Overview
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of common areas and assigned spaces
Perform routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and use of floor equipment
Assist with periodic deep cleaning projects as assigned
Support the Dietary team with dishwashing and kitchen sanitation duties
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures
Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
Work cooperatively with other departments in a mission‑based environment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
Previous janitorial or floor care experience preferred
Willingness to assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning tasks
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Attention to detail and good time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good overall physical and mental health
Friendly, respectful demeanor with residents, Sisters, staff, and visitors
Ability to meet background check and health screening requirements
