Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer | Baltimore, MD | Clean Energy I'm currently partnering with an exciting early-stage climate technology company that's developing a breakthrough industrial decarbonization technology with the potential to transform the energy sector.They're looking for an Electrical Engineer to help scale the technology from pilot through commercial deployment.This isn't a traditional plant maintenance or sustaining engineering role. It's an opportunity to build something from the ground up, taking ownership of the electrical architecture for a novel industrial process while working alongside a highly technical, multidisciplinary team.You'll be involved in:Designing industrial power and electrical systems for an innovative process technologyDeveloping electrical architecture, specifications, and system documentationSupporting testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous design improvementsCollaborating across process, mechanical, controls, and manufacturing engineering teamsWorking with external engineering firms while maintaining technical ownership of the designWe're particularly interested in engineers with experience in:Industrial power systems (3-phase, 480V, transformers, MCCs)Chemical processing, industrial manufacturing, energy, or other heavy industrial environmentsCommissioning, startup, or pilot plant operationsHigh-temperature processes or Joule heating (a plus)If you're looking for a role where you'll have real ownership, solve complex engineering challenges, and help commercialize breakthrough clean energy technology, I'd love to have a confidential conversation.
