Radiology - Interventional Physician
Job Title: Locum - Interventional Radiologist Summary: Join a dynamic healthcare facility located in Bismarck, North Dakota, seeking locum Interventional Radiology (IR) coverage. This opportunity offers an 8-hour day with flexible hours, typically from 8 AM to 4 PM, along with evening call from 4 PM to 8 AM and 24-hour weekend call. Experience with stroke capabilities is preferred but not mandatory. Providing top-quality care, the facility utilizes Epic for EMR, ensuring streamlined communication and documentation. Job Responsibilities: Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, including angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.Utilize advanced techniques for interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and pain management.Conduct procedures from a defined list, which includes but is not limited to central line insertions, TIPS, and IVC filters.Manage evening and weekend call obligations effectively, providing coverage for emergency situations.Foster a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications: Board Certified in Radiology with a focus on Interventional Radiology.Completion of an IR residency or fellowship.Demonstrated experience with all required interventional procedures.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. License and Certification Requirements: Active North Dakota medical license (highly preferred) or IMLC if ND license is not active.Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.Bismarck, ND, is a vibrant city filled with rich history and outdoor activities.
