Physician (Internal Medicine)

Job Duties Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care to authorized beneficiaries with acute and chronic conditions. Examine, diagnose, and treat patients using clinical evaluations, laboratory results, and diagnostic testing. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory studies, X-rays, and EKGs to determine appropriate treatment. Manage patient care as a Primary Care Manager and coordinate referrals to specialty clinics when required. Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and schedule follow-up visits to monitor patient progress. Collaborate with specialists and medical staff to manage complex or difficult diagnoses. Maintain accurate medical documentation and supervise or advise medical personnel in patient care.
