MSI operates as an independent branch of Associa, as our parent company.Job Summary: Vista Ridge Community Center is seeking a Part-time, non-exempt Front Desk Supervisor with starting hourly rate at $17.00. Under the supervision and direction of the Vista Ridge Community Center and managers, the part-time Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and training of the Front Desk Associate staff.This is a part-time position with varied hours that include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility is a must. You may be asked to work major summer holidays (i.e. Memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day, etc.).Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Easily accessible and available for questions and problem resolutions from Front Desk Associate staffReview work produced by the Front Desk Associate staff to ensure all policies and procedures are being followedAssist with training as needed when new employees startGreeting residents upon entry and ensuring valid membership (EVERYONE coming in is scanned in)Collecting money for guest fees and making sure to account for their receipts for nightly reconciliationEnforcing the rules of Skyline and the VRCC/VRHOAChecking pool chemicals before and after the pool closes and recording info onlineWalking pool grounds and making sure furniture is neatly put the way it’s supposed, including cleaningMaintaining resident relationships with calm and friendly demeanorMaintaining proper etiquette both over the phone and in personInspecting facilities to ensure safety standards are maintainedBe knowledgeable as to be able to provide general information about the community center and SkylineOther duties as neededAssisting in ensuring daily revenue close outs are completed and balanced several times daily (money handling)Performing custodial and cleaning duties of pool facility as needed, including taking out trash nightlyAssisting and responding to resident inquires and complaintsBe present at the front desk at all times to handle any inquiriesBeing able to problem solve on your own and be able to help in any situation a member or team member needsHelp with classes or swim team and ensure to do daily tasksCompleting tasks assigned by the supervisor or the VR managerRequirementsBe able to make intelligent decisions independently (problem solving) Be able to work well individually and on a teamBe ambitious, self-motivated, and take initiative Be able to stay on task with little to no supervision Good communication skills, detail-oriented, and punctualWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
