Vice President, Tax, North America

Job DescriptionThe VP of Tax Operations North America leads the enterprise-wide tax function, overseeing compliance, reporting, planning, and risk management across domestic and international entities. This role drives tax strategy aligned with corporate goals, manages global tax teams, and ensures adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee global tax compliance, including corporate, indirect, and international tax filingsLead quarterly and annual tax provision processes under ASC 740 and IFRS standardsDevelop and execute global tax strategies to optimize effective tax rate and cash flowManage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authoritiesMonitor legislative changes and assess impact on global operationsLead transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and audit defenseDrive automation and process improvements using tax technology platformsSupport M&A due diligence, structuring, and post-acquisition integrationCollaborate with Finance, Legal, and Treasury on cross-functional initiativesMentor global tax teams and foster a culture of accountability and innovationRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)10–15+ years of progressive tax experience, including global operationsDeep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, international tax regimes, and transfer pricingExperience with tax provision and compliance software Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsProven ability to manage complex projects and drive strategic outcomesAbout UsDo you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
