Data & Analytics Director
Lead PHINIA's enterprise data and analytics strategy, including data platform evolution, analytics roadmap, and adoption of AI-assisted analytics capabilities.* Establish and enforce data governance, including data quality standards, security controls, metadata management, lineage, and compliance with PHINIA's privacy and regulatory requirements.* Architect, modernize, and oversee data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Databricks, Synapse), data pipelines, integration layers, and self-service analytics tools.* Create and maintain data architecture documentation, data models, data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and governance playbooks.* Identify, prioritize, and deliver analytics use cases across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, aftermarket, engineering, and customer domains.* Enable AI-driven insights through advanced analytics, machine learning–ready datasets, feature pipelines, and enriched semantic models, in partnership with data scientists.* Collaborate with application, cloud, integration, and business teams to operationalize enterprise data products and high-quality analytics solutions.* Establish dashboards, KPIs, data scorecards, and measurement frameworks to track adoption, data quality, analytics performance, and business impact.* Manage budgets related to data platforms, BI tools, AI-assisted analytics tooling, licensing, cloud consumption, and external services.* Oversee vendor and partner relationships for data platforms, BI ecosystems, cloud services, and analytics engineering partners; ensure service value and platform performance.* Communicate effectively with senior leadership by presenting analytics roadmaps, platform performance, adoption trends, insights summaries, and financial impact assessments.* Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of data engineers, BI developers, analytics product owners, and data governance contributors.* Establish best practices, engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and knowledge-sharing processes for analytics delivery and data engineering.* Foster a culture of data literacy, analytical excellence, and continuous improvement across business and IT teams.* Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.* 10+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, data engineering, or digital innovation roles.* Strong expertise in data platforms (Azure Data Services, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, or equivalent).* Experience designing data architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, dashboards, predictive models, and AI/ML solutions.* Understanding manufacturing or automotive data domains such as production, quality, traceability, supply chain, and customer lifecycle.* Familiarity with innovation frameworks: design thinking, rapid prototyping, PoCs, experimentation.* Ability to work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to identify problems and translate them into analytical solutions.* Experience leading analytics teams, partners, and large-scale data initiatives.* Strong communication, storytelling, and change-management skills.* Certifications in data engineering, analytics, cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).* Data governance or analytics certifications (e.g., DAMA, Power BI, Databricks).* Design thinking or innovation certifications (nice to have).CAREER OPPORTUNITIESWe manage talent as seriously as we manage our businesses and encourage you to learn about our proud history, strong culture, technologies and future vision.
