Job DescriptionDuration: 3-6 Month Contract with extensionTop Skillsets:Puppet ManagementSkillset in Puppet/Configuration Management/Automation - PRIORITYResponsibilities:Proactive monitoring of the infrastructure to keep the services running seamlessly.Monitoring the infrastructure and services related to the application such as monitoring the jobs, memory and CPU utilization, web services (http and https), server performance, and overall server/infrastructure health.User and Access Management.Monitoring the instances running on AWS and sharing server performance reports.Performance tuning of the servers and automation of tasks by editing existing Bash scripts.Automation of deployment, customization, upgrades and monitoring through DevOps tools meant for cloud management.Perform scheduled maintenance of the servers and apply necessary updates and patches to the UNIX environment.Monitor production environment with the monitoring tool provided by AWS and address any alerts.Open bridge calls for major incidents and keep stakeholders informed; escalate issues to the appropriate teams as needed.Maintain service levels based on issue priority and take complete ownership of tickets to drive closure.Document procedures and processes and publish them over SharePoint or Knowledge Base; follow documented troubleshooting, resolution, or escalation processes.Additional InformationIf you are interested in the above position, please share your updated resume to alih(at)usmsystems(dot)com or call 703-955-3955J-18808-Ljbffr
