This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the food industry while showcasing your hospitality talents in a lively, fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable * Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales * Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards * Process cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transaction processing * Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with food preparation when needed * Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes, to answer guest questions confidently *Qualifications* * Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred * Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms * Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence * Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly * Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry * Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation is a plus * Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently Join us if you’re passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
