Safety Department Administrator
The Safety Department Administrator ensures smooth daily business operations by managing administrative tasks, acting as a central point of contact, and supporting staff. Key responsibilities include scheduling meetings, managing office supplies, maintaining records, handling correspondence, and assisting with basic research assignments. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Compliance & Recordkeeping: Maintains OSHA-300 logs, incident reports, and safety manuals to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Documentation & Reporting: Prepares safety reports and manages worker's compensation claims and documentation. Scheduling & Coordination: Organizing meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and maintaining calendars. Supplies & Equipment: Ordering supplies, and record keeping to maintaining inventory. Documentation: Managing physical and digital files, creating reports, and processing invoices or correspondence. Requirements Proficiency of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Solid understanding of strong work ethics. Exceptional time-management and organizational skills. Confidentiality. Lift at least 30 lbs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
