Job Description Company Overview:Growing real estate investment and development company on Detroit's east side. Position Summary:Production-focused role responsible for preparing drawings and supporting the technical execution of ongoing multifamily housing and mixed-use development projects. Reports To:Director of Architecture ResponsibilitiesProduce and update construction drawings and plan setsAssist with document development across multiple projectsIncorporate redlines and revisions from senior team membersSupport layouts, plan adjustments, and detailingCoordinate with external engineers and consultantsAssist with code reviews and prepare permitting packagesMaintain organized drawing sets and project files Work EnvironmentFull-time, on-site position (no remote allowed)Based in the Harper Woods headquarters office as part of a four-person architecture teamStandard Monday–Friday office hours with occasional after-hours work Advancement OpportunityTeam members who demonstrate initiative and technical interest will have the opportunity to grow within a stable development pipeline Required ExperienceEntry-level to early-career architectural experienceBachelor's or higher degree in Architecture preferredPathway to licensure preferred, not requiredFamiliarity with RevitStrong understanding of construction documentsFamiliarity with multifamily projects preferred (affordable housing a plus)Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instruction and execute efficientlyBasic familiarity with Windows computers and common office softwareValid driver's license and reliable transportation Skills and AbilitiesEnjoys the production side of architectureComfortable working within an established system and team structureAble to take direction, implement feedback, and turn work quickly and accuratelyInterested in gaining experience across multiple active developmentsPositive attitude and willingness to learnGood communication skillsOrganized and dependable with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks in a small team environment BenefitsPaid holidays, vacation and sick time offEmployer-paid medical insurance coverage401(k) plan with employer matchEmployer-paid life insurance CompensationSalary range is $40,000 to $60,000 depending on experience and qualificationsCompany DescriptionIn 1980, Gerald A.
