Associate Contract Attorney

Key Responsibilities:• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, long-term supply agreements, subcontracts, and service agreements.• Provide clear, business-focused legal advice on contract terms, payment structures,insurance, bonding, and compliance.• Prepare and send formal notices, default letters, and other contractual communications.• Support project teams with contract interpretation, enforcement, and compliance tracking.• Resolve or assist in handling disputes, claims, and litigation matters.• Ensure all contracts comply with federal, state, and local laws.• Coordinate with external counsel on high-volume or complex matters.• Maintain organized records of contract versions, amendments, approvals, and deadlines.• Review NDAs, vendor agreements, and internal policies as needed.Qualifications:• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in the State of Texas• 3–5 years of experience in contract law, ideally with exposure to commercial transactions, supply agreements, and licensing• Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk management• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Strong written and verbal communication abilities• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management toolsNeed to have solar industry experience
