Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their team in Tacoma, Washington. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney to gain broad experience and grow within a reputable and collegial firm. Duties Conduct legal research, drafting, and analysis for litigation and transactional matters Prepare pleadings, motions, contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents Participate in client meetings, court appearances, and depositions with mentorship Collaborate with attorneys and staff across practice groups Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar, or ability to become licensed within a reasonable time 0‐2 years of relevant legal experience; internships, clerkships, or clinical experience may be considered Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Professionalism, reliability, and a desire to learn Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar, or ability to become licensed within a reasonable time. Skills Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
