This role bridges the gap between pre-construction planning and on-site delivery by proactively identifying risks, verifying conditions, and overseeing installation activities.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, highly organized, and comfortable operating independently in active construction and client environments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Pre-Installation & Site ValidationPerform and document comprehensive site surveys to validate delivery path of travel (access points, elevators, stairs, loading docks, restrictions) and site readiness.Conduct field measurements and verify existing site conditions that may impact installation.Field verify power and data locations, floor cores, ceiling conditions, wall conditions, and structural backing.Document existing furniture inventory and reuse plans.Identify and document discrepancies between drawings and field conditions.Upload detailed survey reports, photos, and markups into PlanGrid / Autodesk Build and/or other software as needed (Excel, Airtable)Proactively communicate risks and required corrective actions to Project Managers, Design or other team members identified.Pre-Installation CoordinationParticipate in internal project handoff meetings.Review drawings, specifications, and installation instructions.Collaborate with PMs, Sales, Designers, and Installers to confirm scope alignment, site readiness, delivery logistics, and installation sequencing.Track site-readiness milestones and field action items.Participate in Pre-Installation meetings with internal team and labor partner.On-Site Delivery & Installation OversightServe as the on-site lead during delivery and installation.Verify product staging areas and final placement alignment with drawings.Ensure installers follow approved plans and safety standards.Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, IT teams, building management, and client representatives as determined by project team. Resolve field issues in real time while protecting project schedule and margin.Document any scope changes, field modifications, or additional work requirements.Punch & CloseoutConduct punch walks with client and internal teams.Document punch items in Autodesk Build / PlanGrid with photos and location references.Track completion of punch items to closure.Verify final installation quality and completeness.Support warranty documentation and closeout packages.Technology & ToolsPlanGrid / Autodesk Build - site documentation, markups, punch trackingMicrosoft 365 - Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePointSmartsheet - schedule tracking, task management, reportingInsidesource Core ResponsibilitiesExemplify Insidesource values of Team First, Client Led, Change Makers, Experience Focused.Participate in All Company Meetings and Regional Town Halls.Embody diversity, equity, and inclusion in our Insider community and business practices.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneSkills, Knowledge, Experience Required3+ years' experience in commercial furniture installation, construction field management, or related environmentStrong understanding of commercial interiors, delivery logistics, and electrical/data coordinationAbility to read and interpret construction documentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and documentation disciplineAbility to work in fast-paced, active construction environmentsField leadership and presenceProactive risk identificationProblem-solving under pressureClient-facing professionalismStrong organizational and follow-through skillsAccountability and ownership mindsetThe anticipated salary range for this role is $80-95K. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
