Job SummaryThe Social Media Strategist & Digital Content Creator is responsible for telling the stories across the Beak & Skiff family of brands—1911 Established, Beak & Skiff Apple Farms, The Houses at Beak & Skiff, and ayrloom. This exciting and fast-paced position is tasked with translating our rich family history to social media platforms. It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Beak & Skiff, connecting with our 113-year history. This position requires an experienced professional with extensive social media knowledge to help grow our audiences and tell authentic stories.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Include but are not limited toAssist the department manager with the strategic allocation of social media ad spend across various platforms.Broaden the social media presence of our brands, including creating and managing new accounts on emerging platforms such as TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter.Oversee existing platforms, ensuring vibrant and engaging content.Produce and develop TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, & Stories to craft compelling visual narratives for cross-platform sharing.Conduct and manage influencer outreach across myriad platforms to bolster engagement and impressions across our brands.Utilize video editing expertise to craft engaging content set to trending audio and other creative elements such as captions or memes.Generate and schedule relevant social media content that aligns with and supports the company's broader initiatives, including linking to strategic content in bios.Analyze and report on campaign performance to optimize return on investment.Collaborate with department heads to share the most relevant and impactful content.Provide timely customer service via social media messaging platforms.Project Management and Content CreationOversee the organization and utilization of photography assets from Stay Fresh Design, ensuring optimal use across all platforms.Assist in the lead of coordination of photoshoots, from conceptualizing the theme to executing the final vision, which includes creating mood boards, selecting visual elements, organizing props, and styling.Curate and maintain a comprehensive visual content library, ensuring access to high-quality assets from influencers and organic content for streamlined use across marketing channels.Act as a creative force in producing cutting-edge visual and video content that aligns with current trends and platform capabilities, from Instagram and Facebook to Reels, TikTok, and beyond.Collaborate closely with managers and team members to authentically capture and communicate our unique "family farm culture," bringing to life the distinct narratives of our individual brands.Generate compelling visual stories and video content that resonate with and engage our audience, encapsulating the essence of our brand identity.Craft and share engaging behind-the-scenes content that highlights the day-to-day intricacies of our brand operations, fostering a deeper connection with our community and customers.Take charge of project timelines and deliverables, ensuring a seamless and effective workflow while upholding high standards of creativity and innovation in content production.Product photography including “on-white” product shots, ingredient shots and use of backdrops.Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:High School diploma required.Valid driver’s license.3-5 years of experience in social media management for a brand or company.Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.Demonstrated success in developing and implementing social media strategies.Collaborative spirit with a proactive mindset.Proficient in video editing and content creation.Exceptional copywriting and communication skills.A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to engage audiences and narrate brand stories.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Understanding of current and up and coming social media trends and the ability to apply them to engage diverse audiences.Proficiency in video editing and ad creation.Digital literacy and a deep understanding of social media nuances.Competency in using Meta platforms for advertising, monitoring, and enhancement of social presence.Strong copywriting skills with an emphasis on consumer engagement.Self-starter with the initiative to create tasks, manage a weekly schedule, and add value independently.Required experience with a desire to advance within the organization.Willingness to attend events and travel for content capture and marketing support.Physical Exertion:Moderate Work- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
