Job Summary Responsible for loading, operating, and unloading rubber press equipment to manufacture products that meet all product specifications, quality standards, and production requirements while minimizing waste and maintaining a safe work environment. Essential Functions Load raw materials into the press according to established procedures, ensuring proper weight and material distribution for consistent Mold coverage. Monitor and operate press equipment to ensure lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times meet product specifications. Report any equipment issues or process deficiencies to the setup technician or supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by properly disposing of scrap, waste, and other materials in designated locations. Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations by removing oil, cured scrap, water, and other contaminants that could affect product quality before or after curing. Accurately complete production, quality, and process documentation. Trim excess material from pads, inspect stoppers for quality defects, and perform necessary corrective actions when defects are identified. Process manufactured pads through the cooling unit according to established procedures. Stack and place pads or stoppers onto pallets or other designated storage locations. Follow all safety policies, environmental procedures, and Quality System Regulations (QSRs) always. Work Schedule Rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule. Shift Hours: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
