Maintenance Assistant

Our facility is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Full Time Maintenance Assistant. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for providing support for a variety of maintenance related areas throughout our facility. Job Duties: Assure that all defective machinery, equipment, and appliances are repaired or replaced. See that the grounds and facility are kept safe, neat, orderly, and well maintained. Conduct Monthly Fire Drills Organize, maintain, and store all department-specific supplies and equipment. Report to supervisor all complaints and grievances made by residents, families, visiting individuals, agencies, etc. Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc. as directed or requested. Inventory, identify and help store residents' personal possessions on an ongoing basis Education It is preferred that the Maintenance Assistant have a minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program.
