A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - OR/n/nJob Details:/n• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM/n• Schedule may vary each day based on surgical case start times/n• Circulating OR Nurse position requiring experience in multiple surgical specialties/n• Must have experience circulating in ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, GYN, and Plastic Surgery/n• Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation/n• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families/n• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness/n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided/n• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers/n• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers/n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only)/n• Texas RN license or compact license required/n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred/n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred/n• Full-time position working 5 days, 8 hours per day/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system that provides advanced surgical services across multiple specialties.
