Our MachinistTrainees: Work closely with experienced machinists; learn the operationand set-up of a variety of machine tools. Master necessary skills andknowledge including: CNC machine operation, setup, and adjustment Use ofprecision measuring devices Completion of required paperwork Completeon- and off site training/education as needed to facilitate tradeknowledge. Grow in machining knowledge and skills in preparation for aMachinist position. Gain understanding of shop routings, materials,fixtures, tooling, and locations. Requirements: Solid math skills, goodmechanical aptitude, and a willingness to vary work hours to accommodatetraining. A strong desire to become a top notch, set-up machinist iscritical. Candidates should have a stable education and/or employmenthistory.
