Thank you to our employees for being "The Apple Advantage"!SummaryIn the role of Helper/Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role by assisting in the installation, maintenance, & repair of garage doors, rolling doors, dock equipment, and related systems. Prior experience is preferred but not required, as we provide thorough on-the-job training.DutiesAssist with the installation of garage door products per manufacturer specifications.Gather and prepare materials needed for installation and service jobs.Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment. RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age.Must possess a valid Driver's License.Must have an accepted MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.Must have dependable & reliable transportation to and from your base office location. Preferred QualificationsExperience in garage door service/install or a similar skilled trade.Basic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical.Mechanical inclination Skills Willingness to learnExcellent attention to detailCustomer service-oriented mindsetAdaptability to a changing work environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills Work ConditionsNon-climate-controlled environment - will be working in all weather conditions.Frequently walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, using lift equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
