In this role, you will take the lead in designing, building, and optimizing data architectures that enable data-driven decision-making across the company. You will be responsible for creating scalable data pipelines, refining data models, and ensuring top-notch performance of our data systems.The ideal candidate is an expert in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning, with a deep understanding of data architecture design. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure our data infrastructure is reliable, efficient, and scalable.Key Responsibilities:•  Data Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architecture solutions that align with business goals and meet operational performance requirements.•  Data Modeling: Develop and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models to support analytics and operational systems.•  Data Pipeline Development: Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure seamless data flow from multiple sources into our data lakes and warehouses.•  Performance Tuning: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and data processing jobs to optimize performance and resource utilization.•  Data Integration: Design and implement integrations between various internal and external data systems to enable unified data views.•  Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, contribute to project planning, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data solutions.•  Data Governance & Security: Ensure that data systems comply with security, privacy, and governance standards.•  Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of the latest data engineering trends and technologies to enhance and modernize our data infrastructure.Required Skills & Qualifications:•  Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.•  Experience: 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.•  SQL Expertise: Deep proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and performance tuning.•  Data Modeling: Proven experience in designing and implementing data models for both transactional and analytical systems.•  ETL/ELT Processes: Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.•  Performance Tuning: Experience with query optimization, indexing strategies, and improving database performance in large-scale environments.•  Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).•  Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.•  Big Data Tools: Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop is a plus.•  Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.Nice to Have:•  Experience with stream processing and real-time data architectures.•  Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).•  Experience in working with NoSQL databases and data lakes.Benefits:•  Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.•  Health, dental, and vision insurance.•  Flexible working hours and remote work options.•  Professional development opportunities.•  Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
