We're looking for a reliable Assistant Production Operator to join our production team. This role supports daily operations on the production line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.ResponsibilitiesServe as "Lead Operator" when needed, overseeing all aspects of the production line and leading changeovers.Work safely and follow all company safety procedures.Assist operators with daily tasks including preparing boxes, rolls, and hoppers; performing rework; packing; and pulling product.Maintain a clean and organized workspace that meets 5S and housekeeping standards.Meet or exceed daily production targets.Identify and correct basic machine or process issues independently.Safely operate a crane to load and unload rolls from unwind stands.Assist with timely and accurate changeovers (Interfolder and Cartoner).Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.Assist with daily or weekly preventive maintenance tasks.Complete daily and weekly cleanup to ensure equipment is ready for the next shift.Key CompetenciesStrong teamwork and communication skillsable to give and receive direction effectively.Good written and verbal communication abilities.Follows direction from Lead and/or Operator to optimize production and workflow.Skilled in using hand tools and tape measures.Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.13 years of experience as a Line Assistant or in a similar manufacturing role preferred.Why Join UsCompetitive pay and benefits packageOpportunities for advancement and skill developmentSupportive team environment with safety as a top priorityABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
