Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance.Our client is currently seeking a qualified Network Engineer to join their team onsite in Chandler, AZ.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 network support for existing and new network components (include but not limited to troubleshooting, incident management, and service requests)Complete switch installation, maintenance, and configuration activitiesResponsible for implementing standard changesAssist project and operations teams on major projects / activities by owning some of the tasksCreate change documentation and implementationReport out to stakeholders as network representative, when neededAudit infrastructure such as fiber, power, rack availability to support switch installationCoordinate and manage vendors for infrastructure installationWorking with relevant party for installation (get quote, coordinate install, inspect and close installation)Create cable matrix and change control documentationTrack down all purchase hardware and coordinate with cabling vendor for installationUpdate Tool of record inventory and asset management of any and all network assetsSkills and QualificationsCurrent CCNA certification requiredMinimum 3+ years of experience with Computing Network support, troubleshooting and configurationWorking knowledge of Cisco iOS and NXOS (ACI is a plus)Must be a team playerHas ability to integrate well with peer technical domains in Client IT (InfoSec, HPC, etc.)Ability to establish trust and good working relations with Client ITAbility to understand customer requirements and put them on the groundVery sensitive and flexible to customer needs, expectations and timelinesAbility to deliver solutions at times of pressureStrong verbal communication skillsWage RangeThe rate for this position is between $32.62 - $43.50 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher.
