Facility is seeking Neurohospitalist to join team- Full Time Schedule with 7 on 7 off rotations, unless otherwise specified- Cover neurology consults for evaluation and management on a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to stroke, TIA, seizure, headaches and neuromuscular disorders- An acute tele-stroke team is available 24/7 to provide emergent evaluations for Acute Stroke Alerts - Will work with the support of an APC and be available for bedside initial consults and follow-up. - Primary admitting responsibilities will be managed exclusively by hospitalists and intensivists- 1:5 call rotation- Perform patient education and counseling to promote wellness. Consistently address and provide resources for health risk behaviors- Physician will participate in semiannual quality improvement initiatives- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents- Required: DE medical, CSR, and DEA license, including required continuing medical education (CME) and appropriate board certification.
