We connect as a team at our Team Week experiences four times a year and at our recently established Hub locations - SF Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, NY; Denver, CO; Austin, TX; Calgary, AB; and Toronto, ON.We are currently looking for candidates located within 60 miles of any of the listed hubs to foster more in-person connections while maintaining our flexible remote culture.About This PositionWe are seeking a Project Manager to support the Construction Team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Director of Construction Project Management and will assist cross-functional partners in Development, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, and Operations. The successful candidate must be an experienced multi-tasker with the ability to work on multiple (2-3) large-scale projects simultaneously. Our ideal candidate is team-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment and has experience managing wind projects exceeding 300 MW in capacity.What You’ll DoWeekly and monthly budget review and reporting including: forecast cash flows, invoice review, lien waiver review, actuals, accruals, forecastsReview and monitor schedules from different parties and ensure they are fully alignedTrack owner, contractor, and 3rd party deliverables in the EPC contracts and land contracts.Read and understand construction contractsManage consultant agreements and deliverablesAttend meetings with contractors, utilities, grid operatorsManage Owner Site Team of 8+ consultant personnelDevelop project trackers to manage the quality and commissioning process and performance testingTrack delivery of owner supplied materials and ensure that the milestone payments and contractual notices are completedAssist Project Finance team in compiling monthly documentation such as external progress reports, lien waivers, invoices, subordination agreements, estoppels, warranties and supporting documentationLiaise with the Owner's engineer, manage the deliverables per the project schedule and ensure compliance with technical specificationsPrepare weekly internal reports for executive level discussionsReview and manage EPC engineering documents (IFP, IFC, RFI, submittals, transmittals, as-builts) and ensure they are answered or cleared in a timely mannerMentor Associate Project Managers as they progress in their careersWhat You’ll BringBachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field7+ years of progressive experience working in wind construction with a focus on project management, EPC contract management, budget ownership, invoice tracking, and schedule monitoringMinimum 2-3 years experience as a Project Manager or equivalent on at least 2 utility-scale wind projects from start of construction to substantial completionAdvance knowledge of Excel, Google Suite, Slack, Bluebeam, Microsoft ProjectHigh attention to detail and standards for work productsAble to translate complex findings into slide presentations for executive team reviewFamiliar with site safety protocols and proceduresStrong communication and negotiation skillsTotal RewardsCompensation: $188,000 to $200,000 (total compensation includes base salary + bonus in USD)Equity: Beyond your salary, you’ll receive an Equity Grant, giving you a meaningful stake in our parent company.Health & wellness: 100% premium coverage for you and your dependents on medical, dental, and visionTime to recharge: Unlimited PTO, plus two company-wide breaks (Fourth of July & end of year)Family support: Up to 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave, plus 6 additional weeks for birth parents; access to family planning and family care support through Carrot and MavenMental health: Free access to Spring Health, including 5 free therapy and psychiatry sessions, plus a Headspace account for mindfulness and meditation through our physical health vendor, Wellhub+Perks & extras: $150 monthly food stipend, $150 monthly reimbursement for cell phone and internet, pet insurance allowance, full home office setup, free access to UrbanSitter with $625 in quarterly company-paid credits, ActiveHero, and One MedicalIntersect maintains a work environment free from discrimination, one where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
