Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Position: Certified Surgical Tech - Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shifts:4- 10-hour days, Call is required Guaranteed Hours a week: 40 Start date: 4/8/2024 Job ID: 267766 Essential Functions Work as a supportive, cooperative member of the OR team at the highest level of the Surgical Technologist Licensure. Greet and interact with all visitors, clients, families, and co-workers with empathy and as a representative of Confluence Health. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPPA to the highest standards. Learn surgical procedures and subjects relating to operating room/ surgical patients. Follows appropriate procedure for obtaining, returning, cleaning, and disposing of surgical supplies and equipment to maintain a safe environment. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology OR 2 years of Surgical Technology experience in the OR. Current Washington State Surgical Technologist registration. National Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists within one year of hire and recertification as needed. Certified in CPR and recertified annually. Proficient in Sports Med, Retina, Cataracts and ENT.
