Art Director

Haus is seeking an experienced Art Director to join our Los Angeles team. In this role, you will own the visual direction of projects from concept through delivery, working closely with Creative Directors and collaborating across design, motion, and development. The ideal candidate brings a strong design sensibility, proven experience across digital touchpoints, and the confidence to lead creative conversations with clients.RequirementsWhat you'll do:Own the visual direction of projects — developing style treatments, design systems, and creative frameworks that set the standard for the whole teamCollaborate with CDs and ECDs to shape creative strategy and translate briefs into compelling visual ideasPresent and defend creative decisions to clients with clarity and confidenceDirect and give feedback to Senior Designers and Designers on your projectsBring a strong UI and motion sensibility to everything you make — knowing how digital experiences move and behave, not just how they lookWhat you'll bring:5+ years of experience in design, with a strong portfolio of digital-first workFluency in Figma and Adobe CC SuiteA strong eye for layout, typography, and brand expression across digital formatsExperience with style treatments, storyboards, moodboards, and campaign conceptingUnderstanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and how animation can enhance digital experiencesConfidence presenting to and collaborating with clientsA collaborative, ego-free approach to making work betterBenefitsWe're a digital design studio in Los Angeles built on the belief that creativity and technology are better together.
