Maintenance Supervisor - Nashville, TNCompensation: Starting at $85,000 + Bonus Eligibility Company Summary:A global specialty materials manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support nonwovens manufacturing and converting operations at a high‑volume production facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide hands‑on leadership and technical oversight for maintenance teams supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities include:Lead and supervise mechanical, electrical, and piping skilled trades in a continuous manufacturing environmentPlan and direct daily maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and repair schedulesMaintain a safe work environment by enforcing standards, procedures, and regulatory complianceDrive preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtimeTrack daily technician work execution and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasksEnsure appropriate staffing coverage for 24/7 operations and respond to after‑hours emergencies as neededEvaluate equipment issues to determine appropriate repair strategies and resource requirementsPartner with operations to identify recurring equipment issues and recommend reliability improvementsLead training, coaching, and development of maintenance technicians while driving accountabilityManage spare parts and maintenance inventories to support operational efficiencySupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, cost reduction, and elimination of failure modes The Maintenance Supervisor should have the following qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field preferredMinimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a direct supervisory roleStrong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fluid power, and control systemsHands‑on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing environmentOSHA 30‑hour certificationCMRT or other relevant maintenance certification preferredSix Sigma Green or Black Belt preferredExperience using CMMS systems; SAP Plant Maintenance experience highly desirableProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a skilled technical workforceStrong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to maintain composure and make sound decisions in high‑pressure situations Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefitsPaid time off and company holidaysOpportunity for professional growth within a multi‑site manufacturing organizationLeadership role with direct impact on safety, uptime, and plant performance If you are interested in the Maintenance Supervisor opportunity, don't wait to apply.
