DescriptionSenior Project Manager – Strategy, Growth & Expansion (Hybrid)Location: Spartanburg, SC (In Office 3 Days / Remote 2 Days)Department: Enterprise Project Management OfficeOverview:Security Finance is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact strategic initiatives that support business growth, operational expansion, and enterprise transformation. This role combines hands-on project execution with strategic leadership, focusing on revenue-generating initiatives, new market expansion, and continuous operational improvement. The Senior Project Manager will partner closely with executive leadership, Corporate teams, Operations, and IT to drive meaningful business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Growth, Expansion, and Innovation:Lead strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth, market expansion, and entry into new statesPartner with leadership to develop and execute business strategies and operational plansIdentify opportunities to increase leads, improve performance, and drive profitabilitySupport evaluation of new markets, including regulatory and operational readinessLead or support technology transformation initiatives, including evaluation and replacement of critical systemsPartner with IT and business leaders to implement scalable, modern solutionsProject Management and Execution:Own full project lifecycle including project plans, scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, issues, and documentationLead large, complex, cross-functional projects and programsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetDrive accountability across teams to meet project goals and business objectivesRemove obstacles and protect teams from scope creep and non-prioritized workChampion Agile frameworks and PMLC methodologiesRisk Management and Operational Oversight:Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate risks across projects and strategic initiativesProvide leadership with visibility into project health, risks, and performance metricsDrive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce operational riskLeadership, Communication, and Change Management:Act as a change agent, driving adoption of new processes, systems, and initiativesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadershipEnsure transparency regarding project status, risks, timelines, budgets, and resourcesServe as a liaison across business units to ensure alignment and accountabilityMentor and coach team members on project management best practicesPortfolio Support:Assist with portfolio management and prioritization of strategic initiativesQualifications:4+ years of experience leading and managing projects and project teamsProven ability to manage project plans, budgets, scope, risks, and resourcesStrong understanding of business strategy, growth initiatives, and operational expansionAbility to connect project outcomes to revenue impact and business performanceStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levelsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience in risk management and issue resolutionProven ability to mentor, coach, and influence teamsStrong business judgment, including knowing when to make decisions vs. escalateExperience with project management tools and tracking systemsProficiency in Excel, Visio, and PowerPointExperience working with Agile frameworks and PMLC methodologiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in consumer finance, financial services, or insurance industriesExperience supporting multi-state operations or expansion effortsPMP, CSM, or other Project Management or Agile certificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related fieldWork Environment:Hybrid role based in Spartanburg, SC Corporate OfficeIn-office 3 days per week, remote 2 days per weekOffice setting with standard computer and communication responsibilitiesWhat We Offer:Medical insurance (minimal cost to the employee)Dental, vision, and life insuranceShort- and long-term disability401(k) with company matchingProfit sharingPaid sick time, holidays, and vacationTop-of-the-line training and ongoing developmentGrowth potential and career advancement opportunitiesCommunity involvement through charitable contributions and local partnershipsAbout Security Finance:Security Finance has been a leader in the financial services industry since 1955.
