Machine Operator - Aerospace - 3rd Shift Location Danbury, CT, US, 6813 Job Requisition ID: 41581 Your Key Responsibilities **** Training will be provided on 1st shift. After training has been completed, employee will move to 3rd shift**** Operates machines for production of various products, as assigned. Prepare machines for the production program, by tooling and parametrization according to work order. Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes. Check production status within and in between each production sequence and take action in case of deviations. Check finished parts/component, perform specific checks or functionality tests. Support maintenance in regular inspections and repair measures. Your Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions write clear communication in English. Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment. Good visual acuity. Basic computer software skills. Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required. Physical ability to carry out repetitive tasks safely and efficiently Ability to read blueprints Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. Preferred Qualifications Two plus years' experience operating grinding machines Experience setting up machines or the equivalent formal technical education. Experience running machines.
