We have the privilege of being able to lend a helping hand to both pediatric and adult clients who need care in various environments. Our skilled nursing team can work in a client's home and/or in school/classroom settings. Prior to working with a client, Together Homecare of Indianapolis will provide you the opportunity to meet a few families and assess the environment where you would be providing care. We will work to find a schedule that works for YOU and YOUR availability. Daily Tasks Could Include but are not limited to: G-Tube Management Trach Care Seizure Management Medication Administration Catheter Care Field nurses will work closely with the agency, family, and other service providers to ensure the best comprehensive care for the client. Responsibilities Monitor client’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and education. Observe and interpret the client’s symptoms and communicate to the reporting nurse. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care Plans of Care for their client. Adjust and administer client’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.). Provide instant medical care in emergency situations. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for clients and their families.
