Financial Analyst
Job SummaryThis role supports the accounting function by managing defined areas of the close and financial reporting process.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Close and ReportingSupport and take ownership of assigned components of the month-end close by analyzing data, supporting financial reporting, and posting journal entries.Prepare, reconcile, and analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts, including accruals for liabilities, reserves, and customer rebate accounting.Participate in monthly close meetings with the Accounting and Finance team.Fixed Assets and Capital AccountingManage US fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation reporting for monthly and annual financial reporting. Prepare depreciation expense journal entries and budgets.Support capital expenditure budgeting and forecasting in coordination with Plant and IT leads.Maintain accurate fixed asset records and supporting documentation.Audit and ComplianceSupport audit procedures, including interim and year-end fieldwork.Serve as a primary contact for assigned areas, including fixed assets and related general ledger accounts.Ensure documentation is complete, organized, and “ready-for-audit”.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerform ad-hoc project reportingAssist in maintaining accurate and well-documented accounting processes.Education, Skills, And AttributesBachelor’s Degree required, major in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.Strong and effective communication skills required, both written and oral.Analytical and detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and able to work autonomously.ERP system experience with an integrated general ledger required, experience with Infor LN a plus.Knowledge of MS Office applications, intermediate Excel skills a requirement, advanced Excel skills a plus. The actual base salary depends on various factors and could be above or below the range depending on the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, business needs, and market demand. The full salary range for this role reflects this position's competitive labor market value and provides an opportunity to progress as associates grow and develop within the role. Bonuses are paid based on RTC’s financial results. Any payouts awarded in the first year of employment are pro-rated based on the start date.
