We are seeking a Manager, Security Operations, to lead our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) and drive the next generation of AI-powered threat detection, investigation, and response. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape security strategy, lead major incident response, and build a world-class security operations capability in a SOX-regulated, SOC 2 Type 2 certified environment.What You'll DoLead day-to-day SOC operations across cloud and on-prem environmentsServe as Incident Commander for major security incidentsDrive AI-powered security operations, automation, and threat detection initiativesLead detection engineering, threat hunting, and response improvementsOwn and optimize SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat intelligence platformsDevelop incident response plans, playbooks, and automation workflowsPartner with IT, Cloud, Risk, and Compliance teams to strengthen security postureMentor and develop SOC analysts and security engineersWhat You'll BringBachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).8+ years of security operations, incident response, or threat detection experience3+ years leading a SOC or Security Operations teamDeep expertise with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, detection engineering, and incident responseExperience operating in SOX and SOC 2 Type 2 environmentsHands-on experience applying AI/LLMs to security operations and automation.Strong communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholdersLeadership & People SkillsTechnically credible leader who earns trust through expertise and actionCalm, decisive decision-maker during high-pressure security incidentsExcellent communicator able to translate complex security issues for any audiencePassionate about leveraging AI and automation to improve security outcomesSelf-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve resultsCommitted to continuous learning, innovation, and team developmentWhy Join Us?Be part of a team building a modern, AI-enabled security operation that protects critical business systems while continuously advancing detection, response, and operational excellence.Echo Global Logistics is a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation management services.
