Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job OpportunityLarge print production team located in Central Asheville, NC seeking entry-level to experienced Machine Operators to join their team. The ideal candidate is dependable and detail-oriented, with a willingness to learn. On-the-job training, advancement opportunities, and full benefits are provided.Location: Central Asheville, NCShift: 2nd Shift 3pm to 11pmWork Hours: Monday FridayPay Rate: $19.80/hrCore ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Prepare, start, and monitor machines; load materials and follow established procedures to maintain smooth production flow.Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine maintenance and diagnose and resolve basic malfunctions; occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.Documentation & Housekeeping: Complete required paperwork accurately; clean and restock work area at the end of each shift.Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols; maintain awareness of moving parts, chemicals, and other environmental hazards.Required Skills and QualificationsExperience: Entry-level welcome; basic mechanical skills preferred.Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Skills: Strong computer skills, basic math and reading ability, attention to detail, multitasking, and good communication; ability to distinguish colors required.Additional Qualifications & CompetenciesComfortable working in a fast-paced, climate-controlled production environment.Reliable and motivated with a desire to grow within the company.Physical ability to stand/walk regularly, use hands, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.Must be available for an on-site interview prior to placement
