Respiratory care for patients on medical floors, adult critical care and the emergency room, consisting of breathing treatments secretion mobilization non-invasive and invasive ventilation cardiopulmonary resuscitation intubation assistance drawing and analyzing blood gases obtaining EKGsEquipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Ventilators Avea, Puritan Bennett 840, 3100 B HFOV, VentiPac transport ventilator Non-invasive ventilators V60 and Vision IPV Capnostream 20 ETCO2 OmniCell medication dispenser EPIC EMRRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Required skills as listed in #1Minimum of 1 year experienceSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)RRT, OR state licensure, BLSShift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) 12 hour night shift 1830-0700 with weekends. Will not work alone, generally 8 staff on shift. Call not expected.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Will work for Respiratory Therapy throughout the hospital.Bed size/number of rooms/daily specimen/procedure count for this unit/dept. 12-14 treatments per 4 hour round or 4-5 ventilators.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
