This role bridges project planning and shop floor execution, helping ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project coordination, data tracking, and process improvement while contributing to initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. ExploretheDepthoftheRole:Assist with project planning, scheduling, tracking, and documentation Maintain action item logs, schedules, and milestone updatesTrack project metrics and help prepare status reports and dashboards (e.g., using SmartSheet, Microsoft Project or OnePager)Coordinate meetings, capture notes, and follow up on action items Support manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and inefficiencies Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders All other related duties as assigned RequirementsMissionReadiness:Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related fieldProficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficient knowledge in SmartSheet is requiredBasic understanding of project management principles (scheduling, tracking, risk management)Familiarity with project tools such as Microsoft Project (preferred)Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or dashboard tools is a plusInterest in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO is a plus)Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities Travel Requirements: Rare but may occur Physical Requirements: May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.May lift or carry 50lbs.
