Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individuals who are interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assitant. The Nursing Assistant will play a crucial role in providing quality care and support to patients once certified. The ideal candidate will assist nurses and medical staff in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Take and record vital signs accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist in the movement and transportation of patients within the facility.
- Follow infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Experience:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or dementia care is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical-surgical procedures, and basic life support techniques.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency in lifting patients safely.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards patients.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and respond efficiently to patient needs.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in medication administration or working in surgical settings.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for wound care or sterile procedures.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection.
- Ability to lift patients safely using proper techniques.
