The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components based on engineering drawings and specifications. Typical tasks include writing and editing CNC programs, calibrating machinery, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring quality control. Collaboration with the engineering and production teams to optimize processes and meet production goals will also be a key responsibility.QualificationsProficiency in CNC programming, including knowledge of G-code and M-codeExperience in machine setup and calibration, with an understanding of tooling and fixture designStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving machine issuesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsExperience with quality control processes such as measurements, tolerances, and inspectionsBasic understanding of CAD/CAM software for creating CNC programsExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workStrong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or within a teamPrior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training is a plus
