This position requires strong hands-on experience developing Java based backend services and modern React applications. Candidates must have an active IRS MBI clearance and current Government Furnished Equipment, or GFE.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in progress or completed, with at least two years of relevant professional experienceActive IRS MBI clearanceCurrent IRS Government Furnished Equipment, or GFEStrong Java development experience, including knowledge of object oriented design principles and Java design patternsHands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPAFrontend development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactExperience developing responsive web interfaces with HTML and CSSExperience designing and developing APIs that support communication between frontend and backend systemsExperience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWSFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or OpenShiftExperience with DevOps and software delivery tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, or GitHub ActionsExperience working in an Agile development environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with client stakeholders across technical and organizational levelsPreferred QualificationsExperience documenting APIs with Swagger or OpenAPIExperience with Node.js or PythonPrevious experience supporting IRS or other federal technology programs
