Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Safety and Fleet Associate to join our team. This role will support our safety and fleet management operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure compli- ance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles, equipment, and job sites to identify and address potential safety hazards.
Maintain accurate records of fleet maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Support safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientations and on- going safety education.
Assist with incident investigations and prepare reports on safety and fleet-related issues.
Monitor and track fleet fuel usage, maintenance costs, and compliance with DOT regula- tions.
Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
0–2 years of experience in safety, fleet management, or a related field (internships or relevant coursework may count toward experience).
Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and DOT compliance is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with fleet management software or vehicle tracking systems.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
Interest in pursuing certifications such as OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, or Fleet Man- agement credentials.
