PIP Global Safety America's Retail business is seeking a highly motivated leader to drive growth and champion product lines within The Home Depot across the U.S. and Canada. This highly visible role reports to the Executive Vice President & GM, with a dotted line to the Vice President of Sales, reflecting the strategic importance of the account. The position requires deep knowledge of The Home Depot and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, a third-party sales agency, and partners across North America and Mexico. The role will lead and develop two National Sales Managers while supporting Pro business strategies and expanding opportunities within the industrial marketplace. Additionally, the position partners closely with a third-party agency to manage key initiatives such as data analytics, demand planning, and planogram execution to ensure in-store excellence. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Being a champion to The Home Depot, internally campaigning, ensuring cross-functional team members share your passion for driving growth across all of Home Depot's business
Can manage two National Sales Managers and our Home Depot Rep Agency, keeping growth front and center. Knowledge of Tractor Supply, Walmart, Menards, Meijer, is preferred not mandatory.
Grow key sales metrics; revenue, margin, GMROI, turns, meeting and exceeding company budget expectations.
Seeking out new sales opportunities within Home Depot, in core and ancillary departments that sell our product, today we are managing business in Dept 25H and Dept 28I. Manage growth opportunities, reviews, promotions and Pro Sales.
Be a critical and creative thinker, by looking for angles to drive sales and promotional opportunities.
Be a partner with the PIP Ecommerce team, to ensure continuity of business and to help Ecom team win.
Work closely with marketing team to develop products and merchandising vehicles needed to succeed.
Be an efficient manager to keep deadlines on track with internal teams, our 3rd party agency and Home Depot merchants and support staff.
Negotiate effectively with the customer buying organization.
Build strong business relationships at all levels of account management.
Build an extensive knowledge base of product categories you are responsible for selling.
Actively participate in the company's sales and operations planning processes.
Assist the development of sales plan by coordinating with our Ecommerce team to ensure our omni channel strategy is linked between the instore and ecommerce shopping experience.
Responsible for completing monthly narratives and updating company CRM with customer activities and opportunities.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Min 8+ years' experience selling into The Home Depot.
Working within D25H is preferred, but not necessary
Previous direct report management experience
Background of driving Pro Sales across multiple industry channels (Retail, Pro Retail, Pro Industrial)
Understanding of Home Depot portals and tools; POS, Forecasting, Item set up and reset management.
Proven track record of growing customers via organic and new business growth
4-year degree, MBA a plus.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Exhibit a sense of urgency to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; excel, PowerPoint, teams, Word, etc.
