MES Developer - 12 Month Contract - US RemoteLocation: REMOTE - US Citizens based in the USA only!!Employment Type: 12 Month ContractWe are looking for an experienced MES Developer / MES Application Consultant to join a major Manufacturing Execution System (MES) transformation programme for a leading manufacturing client.This role is ideal for someone with hands-on MES implementation experience who enjoys working at the intersection of manufacturing and technology. You'll be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting MES applications while collaborating with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver high-quality manufacturing solutions.Working across the full project lifecycle, you'll play a key role in helping clients modernise their manufacturing operations through innovative digital technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure, and customise MES applications to meet business and manufacturing requirements.Support end-to-end MES implementation projects from design through deployment and hypercare.Work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and manufacturing stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Configure workflows, business processes, and manufacturing functionality within the MES platform.Develop and execute unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the implementation lifecycle.Support integrations between MES and enterprise systems such as ERP, automation, and quality platforms.Produce technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across project teams.Ensure solutions are delivered in line with quality, performance, and compliance standards.Required Experience3–7 years' experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).Hands-on implementation experience with one or more of the following platforms: Apriso, Siemens Opcenter, AVEVA MESExperience configuring or developing MES applications within manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional project teams.Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.Desirable SkillsExperience working in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, food & beverage, or advanced manufacturing.Understanding of ISA-95, Industry 4.0, and Smart Manufacturing concepts.Experience integrating MES with ERP, SCADA, PLC, or automation systems.Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.Experience supporting multiple phases of MES implementation projects.Why Join?This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale MES transformation programmes with a leading manufacturing organisation.
